A few questions for Obama and his Jewish supporters

The Democratic Party and the Obama campaign started worrying several months ago that Obama would not get the kind of majority among Jewish voters that Democratic presidential candidates have gotten in the past. So they have made special efforts to bring the lost Jewish sheep back into the fold. Sheep is the right word for Obama voters, Jews and others. Obama might cause them to be slaughtered. Senator Carl Levin and Congressman Henry Waxman have defended Obama as a mentsh, to their everlasting shame. The deceitful, sinister Obama, good pal of Rashid al-Khalidi and Bill Ayers and Judeophobic imperialist strategist Zbigniew Brzezinski, is anything but a mentsh.

As to Obama's deceit, how can any sensible person accept Obama's dishonest excuse that, although he had sat in Rev Wright's church for 20 years, he didn't know what Wright was saying? Then there's Obama's demagogic charge that McCain represents the Rich. No doubt many rich folk support McCain. But how about the billionaires like George Soros and Theresa Heinz Kerry and malefactors of great wealth like Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, formerly of Wall Street, who have contributed to Obama's campaign and serve it as advisors?? Raines and Johnson helped create the present economic crisis by giving out mortgages to people who were poor credit risks, which might sound kind and generous but wrecked the system when these people could no longer make their mortgage payments. This is what is called the subprime loan problem, and Obama's pals were in the thick of it. They helped to bring the economic system to its knees. And Obama got mucho dinero from them.

Now to a few questions for Jewish supporters of Obama:

1-- where does Obama stand on the human and civil rights of Jonathan Pollard? Where does he stand on the abuse of Pollard's rights under the Eighth Amendment to the US constitution? The 8th Amendment forbids "cruel and ususual punishments." Yet Pollard has been sentenced to what is virtually a life sentence for spying for a friendly country, whereas the US govt was withholding from Israel information that Israel was supposed to receive under a US-Israel treaty. Further, many persons convicted of spying for the enemy Soviet Union and for Arab states got sentences of only a few years. Hence, Pollard's sentence is "cruel and unusual." What will Obama do, if anything, to right the injustice against Pollard?

2-- Obama claims civil and human rights for Black people [if he will really deliver is another question]. What about the civil and human rights of Jews to inhabit Judea-Samaria, including the ancient Jewish holy city of Hebron?? The League of Nations mandate for the Jewish National Home recognized Jewish national and civil rights to live in Judea-Samaria, including Hebron, yet the Bush administration opposes those rights. Obama claims to be against Bush and insinuates that his presidency would not be another term for Bush. Yet he has never criticized the Bush administration's anti-Jewish racism concerning Jewish rights to live in Judea-Samaria and Hebron. Where does Obama stand on Jewish rights? Does Obama favor an apartheid policy against Jews living in those places?

3-- Obama's Jewish toadies tell us that he supports Israel as much as does McCain. But why don't we hear very specific pro-Israel promises from the mouth of Obama himself? Why is it always Senator Levin or Congressman Waxman or Alan Dershowitz? Does Obama have something to hide? Does he want to avoid committing himself to Israel's concrete needs and rights in his own voice?

4-- Why is Zbig Brzezinski being hidden from voters in general and Jewish voters in particular? Maybe there's a good reason because maybe too many people remember all the ill and evil that Zbig did to America, to Israel, and to the world when he was Carter's national insecurity advisor.

Can Obama's supporters say why they overlook Zbig's Judeophobia? Could they ask Obama to publicly repudiate Zbig as an advisor?? [on Zbig see here & here & here & here & ici &
aqui & qui & poh]

Note: I raise these questions not as a Republican --I am not now and have never been a Republican, in fact I don't believe that the parties are different enough on foreign policy-- but as a Zionist. I am concerned about the welfare of Israel and Jews, which I believe coincides with the world's welfare, since Zbig and Obama are hostile to most people in the rationally predictable outcomes of their policies. On the other hand, it is foolish to be in the pocket of any party, particularly not the Democrats with their history of collaborating indirectly in the Holocaust [through Franklin D Roosevelt]. Roosevelt refused to let Jewish refugees from the Nazis find refuge in the United States except under very stringent conditions. Remember that FDR sent the passenger liner St. Louis back to occupied Europe, knowing that it was full of refugees from Hitler.

Who Was President during the Holocaust & Which Was His Party ?

Who was president during the Holocaust? Which party did he belong to?
The Holocaust president was Franklin D Roosevelt. He was a Democrat. He spent much money supposedly to stimulate the American economy and thereby get the USA out of the Depression. He did little to save Jews from the Holocaust. That little was done under pressure from groups like those led by Peter Bergson, such as the Committee for a Jewish Army. Bergson was helped by famous Hollywood scriptwriter Ben Hecht and by many grass roots American Jews and some outstanding non-Jews. What sort of debt do Jews owe to the Democrats for FDR's refusal to bomb the death camps [like Auschwitz] and bomb the railroad tracks leading to them? This was also British policy by the way. So do the Jews owe a debt to either the USA or UK for doing less than the bare minimum to save Jews from the Nazis?

In 1956, seven years after armistice agreements with Arab states had been signed at Rhodes, terrorist attacks from Egyptian-ruled Gaza continued, often with lethal results. In October 1956, Israel, UK and France attacked Egypt together, although each had its own reasons for doing so. Israel attacked a state that was in a state of war with it despite an armistice repeatedly violated by that state, Egypt. However, the outcome of the Sinai Campaign was that President Eisenhower [Ike] demanded that Israel withdraw from Egyptian territory and from the Gaza Strip [part of the internationally designated Jewish National Home] without Egypt signing a peace treaty and ending the state of war, which Nasser's Egypt -- covertly supported by the CIA and the Dulles Brothers, in charge of Ike's foreign policy-- did not want to do. Ike was a Republican.

Years later, in 1977, Jimmy Carter and his liege-man Zbigniew Brzezinski threatened Menahem Begin with an international conference to supposedly settle Israel's fate. Under this threat Begin offered Sadat, Nazi-sympathizing dictator of Egypt, all of the oil-rich, little-inhabited Sinai Peninsula. Not enough, Carter complained at the Camp David Conference [1978]. Jimmy pressured Begin to give more, no doubt under the guidance of Zbig, his national insecurity advisor, for Zbig and Carter also contributed to greater insecurity for the American people [by helping Khomeini take over Iran, etc]. There's a lot wrong with the Israel-Egypt "peace treaty," even from a formal, legalistic standpoint. Carter was a Democrat like FDR who made it difficult for Jewish refugees to come to the USA before and during the Holocaust.

On the other hand, George Bush Senior is a Republican like his liege-man, James Baker. They were notorious for blatant hostility to Israel. As secretary of state Baker helped Hafez Assad, the fascist dictator of Syria, to complete the conquest of Lebanon by Syria. This conquest actually took place in stages. At first it was aided by Henry Kissinger, then by Zbig who picked up the relay and the dirty job was finished by Baker as said [in 1990]. Truly bipartisan foreign policy or, if you like, bipartisan wreckage of civilization.

Baker was notorious for telling Bush Senior: "F. . . the Jews. They don't vote for us anyhow." Of course, Jews did vote foolishly for the Dems, which did not much help when FDR and Carter were president.

Now, one of the remarkable things about personalities involved in the current presidential election is the cyclicality. In other words, zombies rise out of the muck of the black lagoon and policies come back to haunt the Jews. Zbig Brzezinski, formerly Carter's liege-man, has left the tomb of the undead and is now Obama's chief foreign policy advisor, although Obama pretended during the primaries that he did not belong to the old Washington crowd, that he was innocent of its corruption. Obama's partner Biden has an undeserved reputation for being a friend of Israel. During Israel's first big anti-terrorist operation, Defensive Shield in 2002, Biden opposed it in meetings with Jewish leaders:
Joe Biden. . . attacked Ariel Sharon in closed meetings of Jews and Israelis while he [Sharon] was conducting Israel's war against terrorism. These remarks do not get much publicity for some reason, but they are written here on the authority of absolutely reliable sources, of persons who heard them with their own ears.
[Amnon Lord, "The UN Guy and the Jewish Vote" Neged haRuah - Yoman, in Maqor Rishon
Meanwhile, George Bush Junior was demanding that Israel withdraw from areas of the Palestinian Authority's zones that Israel had taken in order to fight the PLO/Hamas/Fatah terrorists, areas where murderous attacks against the Israeli people had originated. Here Bush Junior reminds me of Ike in 1956 demanding Israeli withdrawal from Egyptian territory and Gaza, although terrorist attacks --then called fedayin attacks-- had been launched against Israel from those places and Nasser had brought many German Nazi veterans into his government and foul anti-Jewish, anti-Israel propaganda was regularly featured in the state-controlled Egyptian media. So Biden and Bush Jr were redoing Ike's anti-Israel policy of 1956.

To change the subject slightly, Lyndon B Johnson, a Democrat, was the "peace candidate" in the 1964 presidential election. After the election, LBJ increased aerial bombardments on North Vietnam and hugely increased the number of US troops in that theater of war to more than 500,000. Anybody who thinks that Obama is a peace candidate is an ignorant fool at best.

The Anti-Jewish Bigot Jesse Jackson Supports Obama with Lies

Jesse Jackson has long been one of the less appetizing major figures in US politics. He was long a recipient of millions in Federal govt funding for various projects allegedly meant to help the poor, whereas most of the money went to line his own pockets and buy him luxuries [such as, traveling to Europe on the Concorde for his family]. Yet he has been tolerated and treated kindly by the media. His apparent role in setting Martin Luther King up for assassination has been generally overlooked [see Jim Bishop's book on that assassination]. Nor did his vicious anti-Jewish comments place outside the pale of acceptable and accepted [salonfahig] politicians. Now, he has once again come out of the closet as an anti-Jewish bigot. He has embraced the Walt-Mearsheimer lie that Israel controls US foreign policy in the Middle East. I wonder how much money he gets from Saudi Arabia and/or other Arab sources for failing to mention Saudi influence, which was examined to some extent in the film Fahrenheit 9/11 by "leftist" Michael Moore. Here are some choice quotes from an interview with Jackson reproduced on the blog of Prof Judith Apter Klinghoffer.

Jackson believes that, although "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" remain strong, they'll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House. . .
This is only part of Jackson's expressions of anti-Jewish hate. Next he tells whom he supports:
Jackson warns that he is not an Obama confidant or adviser but, "just a supporter" But he adds that Obama has been "a neighbor, or better still, a member of the family."
After these remarks, Jackson takes some unexpected "right-wing" positions:
. . . the United States "will have to remain in Iraq for a very long time."
"We need to protect our manufacturing industry against unfair competition that destroys American jobs. . . "
The full interview is here.

Obama Campaign's Deceit Exploits Israelis in order to Obtain Jewish Votes

Politicians in general like to pretend, invent, and falsify. But Obama's fakery is superlative, which I don't mean as a compliment. I've already pointed out the extreme fakery of his claims to be untainted by Washington corruption and to represent the poor and disenfranchised. Before getting to the latest deceitful outrage by the Obama campaign, it needs to be said that he is sinister. Precisely the pretense of fighting for the poor and helpless and downtrodden, etc., has been the stock in trade of demagogues, including fascists, Communists of various breeds, Christian socialists [like the notorious Father Coughlin of the 1930s], etc. William Randolph Hearst, the multi-millionaire American newspaper publisher, put on the guise of a "crusader" for the poor and the working class at various stages of his career.

Hayim Ramon, one of the most loathesome ministers in olmert's cabinet [in a league with olmert himself] demonstrated the fake populist strategy here in Israel when he pointed to real grievances in order to take over the corrupt Histadrut labor organization by an election and then used the Histadrut for his own purposes. The career of Hayim Ramon is a case study in this sort of sinister demagoguery. Another case is little known outside the Spanish-speaking world. Two Argentine generals or warlords of the 19th century, Juan Manuel de Rosas and Juan Facundo Quiroga, showed themselves superb practitioners of the demagogue's art and the craft of fake populism. Their careers are described in the book Facundo by Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, a work unfortunately little known in the often benighted English-speaking world. Note that some demagogues point to real grievances which does not mean that they have any intention of redressing those grievances but merely use them in order to obtain popular support at one stage or another. After which they can betray all previous promises. Obama may be worse in that his appeal was to a general longing for Change, while he did not specify which changes he intended to make. Indeed, he was seldom specific about the wrongs to be corrected. Anybody who thinks obama's method brings Hope is a fool. Since obama is so widely supported among American academics, we deduce that there are many persons of low intellectual capacity among these academics and/or many ignoramuses who don't know the history of political demagoguery, persons incapable of reason, bereft of historical knowledge or understanding.

Now let's get back to the sinister Barack Hussein Obama and his sly, deceitful campaign. Here is part of an account from the AP and ynet [the Internet arm of the Yedi`ot Ahronot daily].

Israeli generals duped into supporting Obama

'Pure and simple deceit,' says enraged Uzi Dayan of [the] American Jewish group that told him and other top Israeli figures they were being interviewed for [a] documentary on Mideast challenges and found themselves touted as Obama supporters

The Associated Press
[see the whole article here]

This account demonstrates a great deal of propaganda skill and psywar prowess on the part of Obama's minions. Maybe it's unfair to say "Obama's minions" since I view obama himself as a mere front man. Since the sinister zbigniew brzezinski is one of his advisors, an obama foreign policy [God forbid!!] would in fact be a zbig foreign policy. It would be especially tragic if Jews --intended victims of the obama/zbig foreign policy-- would fall for the demagoguery and help bring their enemy to power.

Barry Obama Brings Me a Bellylaugh

Barack Obama and his campaign have a strong instinct for unconscious humor. The Obama campaign recognized that they had a problem with the white American working class that had voted heavily for Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primaries. So they looked and looked for a candidate to fit the working class role. But all they found was Joe Biden who really doesn't fit the bill. But the Obama campaign can always pretend. There's no law against it and Obama has been doing it all along in so many ways, making him the biggest fake in this year's presidential campaign, although politicians as a group tend to pretend. But Obama's gang goes very far into the ludicrous with their claim that Senator Biden belongs to the working class because he takes a train from Wilmington, Delaware, to Washington. Try to see the humor in the absurdity:
Sen. Obama has recently inserted a more populist tone into his stump speeches, an attempt to better connect to the white, working class voters who largely backed Sen. Clinton during the primaries.
On Saturday, he touted Sen. Biden's working class roots and told the crowd repeatedly that Sen. Biden lives in Wilmington, Del., and takes the train to Washington for Senate business. "This working-class kid from Scranton and Wilmington has always been a friend to the underdog," Sen. Obama said to the 35,000 people gathered outside the Old State Capital in Springfield.
[Wall Street Journal, 26 August 2008]
Do you get that? Riding the train is a sign of being working class. Actually, riding the train can be a pleasant way to travel, and it is more convenient to go to Washington by train from Wilmington than by air travel. This is because the cities are so close and the train stations are located in the center cities. Thereby, the train avoids all the inconveniences of traveling by air, such as the trip from an airport in the DC suburbs to the Capitol building in downtown Washington. These inconveniences include the security checks, the waiting in line, the tight space on a plane, etc. Trains are more spacious and safer than airplanes. They're generally comfortable, especially if you travel first class as Biden surely does. The Amtrak train that goes from Boston to Washington through New York, Philadelphia and other cities, does have first class accomodations.

I recall my one trip on a first class train, the Talgo, going from Barcelona to Madrid. Passengers could get a hot meal served at their seats by a waiter in a starched white jacket. I didn't eat on the train but I did walk to the bar car and got an excellent cup of espresso coffee. That was when prices in Spain were cheap. We took the Talgo after taking a third class train from Port Bou on the French border to Barcelona. I feared for my wife's safety on that trip on account of some of our fellow passengers, while I stood all the way. Anyhow, traveling by train is not a hardship by any means especially if you travel first class.
On the other hand, if Biden could prove that he traveled to DC from Wilmington on a Trailways bus, then I would be impressed that he wanted to mingle with the hoi polloi. Even the slightly more upscale Greyhound bus might show that. But citing the train as proof is absurd. Either Obama and his campaign advisors are foolish or stupid or naive, or they think that the voters are dumb and are cynically deceiving the voters on this as on so many other matters.

Apparently, the Obama campaign is hard up for proof that Biden came out of the working class. Their other"proof" of Biden's working class origin is that his father was an auto dealer. A very working class profession, especially if you are hiring a half-dozen salesmen, a few secretaries, a receptionist, a bookkeeper and/or accountant, and several auto mechanics to work in your garage. The Wall Street Journal tells us that Biden's staff
labored hard to turn one of his [Biden's] potential liabilities --his long career in Washington-- into a strength. Point one: Sen. Biden took the train out of Washington almost every night to go home to Delaware. Two: his humble roots as the son of a car dealer in Scranton, Pa., a pivotal state for Democrats. Biden's aides pushed the idea that their man could help with working class whites who eluded Sen. Obama during the primaries.
[WSJ, 8-26-2008]
These arguments are just too funny. Maybe Biden and his gang and Obama and his gang think that their potential voters are really stupid or that --if not stupid-- they will believe almost anything that their demigod tells them. I can't answer those implied questions. By the way, who is supposed to believe Obama's claim above about Biden?
"This working-class kid from Scranton and Wilmington has always been a friend to the underdog" [Ibid.]
Isn't that "always . . . a friend to the underdog" a bit much? On the other hand, there is a real flesh and blood Biden who has benefitted from substantial contributions over the years from trial lawyers and their lobby, the National Association of Trial Lawyers. Now, here is a real underdog group!! One of Biden's contributing lawyer friends from Mississippi, one Richard Scruggs, was convicted of trying to bribe a judge. What exactly was his connection with Biden? was he trying to bribe him too with his contributions?? [Wall Street Journal, 12-10-2007 & WSJ 8-26-2008]
. . . he's [that is, Biden] also collected $6.5 million in campaign contributions from lobbyists, lawyers and law firms since 1989, according to the non-partisan Center for Responsive Politics. That includes $214,000 from executives of former credit card giant MBNA, now a unit of Bank of America Corp., the center said. He's been a strong supporter of the home-state [that is, based in Delaware] bank, backing a tough bankruptcy bill in 2006 that was one of MBNA's top legislative priorities. [WSJ, 8-26-2008]
Biden is in good odor with some bankers too. But Obama and McCain also have gotten money from very wealthy interests. It's legal. But what irritates me about Obama is that he pretends to represent the "poor" and "the disenfranchised." His pretense to be different is outrageous. It also makes him sinister. Something like William Randolph Hearst who likewise pretended at one stage of his career to represent "the poor." Obama's demagogue persona is menacing.

By the way, is it not curious that Obama, who is younger than Biden, patronizes him as a "working class kid"??

I know that Biden is not the issue today [Nevertheless, also see, Susan Schmidt & John R Wilke, "Biden's Ties Come under Scrutiny," WSJ 8-26-2008].

Now it's the economic crash. But let's try to keep our sense of humor and see the humor in the bizarre antics of the power-hungry.

Are the Academic Lefties Too Dumb to See that Obama Wants War Just as Much as George Bush??

Palin spoke in her debate with Senator Biden about sending more troops to Afghanistan. She was thereby following obama's proposal in fact. That has acutally been one of obama's themes for some time now, as in his speech in Berlin at the Second Reich's Victory Column. He said there:

The Afghan people need our troops and your troops.

So obama is just as eager for war as McCain or Bush, for that matter. What amazes me is that the so-called "liberals" and "left" don't seem to notice that obama is calling for sending more Americans into war. Is it OK for obama to do it, in their opinion, but not for george bush to do it? Are they just stupid or do they try not to notice that their idol is just as eager for more war as anybody else in DC?

of course, when zbig brzezinski is one of your advisors, it's natural for you to propose sending more troops to one place while withdrawing them from another. This may be a sign of that fall of reason that oao [in the Fall of Knowledge & Reason blog] talks about. It's shocking that such imperviousness to actual fact is found among the academic crowd.

Keep in mind that if obama is now talking about two more brigades in Afghanistan [as I saw reported] then after the election this could become five, six, seven, or ten divisions. Obama may cause so much world havoc in his four-year term [with zbig's helpful guidance] that even Black Americans may grow to hate him thoroughly --especially if enough Black kids get killed between the Hindu Kush and Herat.
Of course, obama could set up a few really big welfare and restart-the-economy programs --as Lyndon Johnson did with his Great Society & War on Poverty-- so that many people, black and white, won't even notice that a bigger war is going on.
